SDS is a silicone strap rather than a chain: two elastic ends joined by a 10 cm silicone tube that sits against the back of the head. It is the format used for sport, cycling, kids’ eyewear and safety glasses, where the frame has to stay on through movement and a chain would either break or swing into the face.
The silicone grips without a hard clasp, so there is nothing metal against the skull, and it can be washed. Twelve stock colours mean the strap can be matched to the frame or used as a colour accent on a plain range.
For kids’ ranges this is usually the accessory that closes the sale — parents buy the strap with the frame because they know the frame will otherwise be lost within a week. Bundling the two as a set is straightforward.
Bulk packed or individually bagged. Custom colour and printed logo from 300 pcs.
