SHJM OPTICAL builds the V06 AI sports camera glasses for the one thing every camera pair before it got wrong: the camera has to point where you are looking. On the V06 it sits dead centre in the bridge, between the lenses, so framing is a turn of the head rather than a guess about where the temple is aimed.
It is a sports frame first. The shield lens wraps at the sides, the temples are Ultra-Tough PC with silicone grip inside, and the geometry is shaped to push wind around the eye instead of into it. All of that comes to 49.5 g without a prescription lens, which is light enough that the nose pads do not need to clamp. IP54 covers rain, road spray and sweat, so a wet ride does not end the recording.
What the camera records
An 8MP Sony IMX219 sensor takes stills at 3280 x 2464 in 4:3 and records video at 1200P / 30 fps, with both hardware and software stabilisation keeping the horizon level on rough ground; with stabilisation on, the output frame is 1280 x 960, which is the trade every action camera makes. Two physical buttons cover shutter and record, so a gloved thumb still works. The right temple is a touch strip for play, pause and track skipping, and files move to a phone over 2.4G Wi-Fi through the Da Echo app — faster than pulling the card, and no cable in a pocket.
Lenses and prescription
Lenses are polarised with a colour vacuum coating in ice blue, tangerine or smoke, which is what cuts glare off wet asphalt, water and snow rather than just darkening everything. A removable myopia inner frame clips behind the shield, so the same frame can be sold to a customer who needs -4.00 — the difference between a demo unit and a pair someone wears on every ride.
Audio and AI
Two 1012 speakers (0.7 W / 6 ohm) fire at the ear without blocking it, so traffic and riding partners stay audible, and two silicon mics with ENC noise cancelling pull your voice out of wind noise on a call. The assistant wakes on “Hello Echo”: it answers questions, recognises what the camera is pointed at, translates speech on the fly and reads out notifications. Music runs about 5 hours, continuous recording about 40 minutes per charge in 10-minute clips, and standby is 23 hours with the wake word listening. A 260 mAh cell refills over a magnetic 2-pin cable in 65 minutes.
