S160 is a flap case rather than a clamshell. It opens along one edge, the frame slides in, and a snap button holds the flap down. The structure is softer than a moulded clamshell: it gives slightly under pressure instead of transferring the load to the frame.
That makes it the better choice for a frame that lives in a handbag rather than a drawer. The outside is 172 × 66 × 37 mm and the cavity is 152 × 59 × 36 mm, so a standard optical frame fits with its temples folded.
The surface is a leather-look material with visible grain, and the flap edge is stitched. Snap buttons are the right closure here: a zip adds bulk at the corner where a soft case folds, and a magnetic closure adds cost without adding protection.
Available in tan and brown stock tones. Custom colours and embossed logos are possible from 300 pcs, and the case can be lined to match a frame range.
