AB01WD is a hard-shell clamshell case built around the shape of a standard optical frame. The body holds its shape under a bag or a stacked carton, so the frame inside is protected by the case rather than by the frame’s own rigidity — which matters for acetate and rimless styles that can be twisted out of alignment.
The inside is lined with a soft velvet-touch material. Coated and AR lenses are easy to mark, and a lining that grips the lens slightly is what stops the frame sliding around in transit. The hinge is a metal barrel type, opened by hand and held at the working angle, so a customer can take a frame out one-handed at the counter.
Colours are stock-assorted. If you are building a private-label range, the lid takes an embossed or foil-blocked logo cleanly because the surface is a matte coated sheet rather than a high-gloss print. We can match the case colour and lining to your frame line so the packaged product reads as one range on the shelf.
Cases are normally shipped together with the frames they belong to, in the same carton, which removes a separate packaging supplier from your critical path. They can also be ordered on their own.
