SHJM OPTICAL presents the V04 AI smart glasses with charging case — a camera-equipped smart frame that ships with its own 2,000 mAh power bank, so the battery question that stops most smart eyewear trials never comes up.
The case is the product here. It is a leather-wrapped clamshell sized to hold the folded frame, with a snap flap and a ring pull at the top, and it does two jobs that are usually split between a case and a charger: it stores the glasses, and it charges them. A 2,000 mAh cell inside is roughly seven times the 290 mAh in the frame, so a week of commuting sits inside one case. The same Type-C port works in reverse, which means the case can top up a phone on a day out — one cable in the bag instead of two chargers.
The frame itself carries an 8MP sensor recording 1080P video, mounted at the outer corner of the left temple with the shutter on the right, so a press is a thumb movement rather than a reach for a phone. Audio runs through open-ear speakers rated at about nine hours, paired over Bluetooth 5.3 with a link that holds beyond ten metres. Controls are split deliberately: a touch panel on the temple for volume and track, and a physical button that still works with a glove on or in the rain.
The lenses are photochromic — clear indoors, dark within seconds outdoors — and can be supplied to prescription, which is what turns a demo device into a pair someone wears all day. A voice assistant wakes on “Hey Star” to answer questions, read out the news, identify what the camera is pointed at and translate a photograph; during audio and video calls it renders live translated subtitles on screen. The frame also supports live streaming to TikTok and Douyin, which is the feature buyers in social commerce ask about first.
